New Year is already knocking on our doors and New Year means new resolutions, anything and everything that begins with new. So on this New Year, I make a resolution to post about not only reviews and author interviews or sometimes about blog tours but to post about non-bookish things like writing about an event, or anything is beyond the world of literature. You name it, I'll write it.
So here's my very first non-bookish post and that which is mostly about fashion.
Although I never considered myself to be a fashionista but I think I'm trendy enough to jot down this post. Few weeks back during the wedding season, I, along with few of my closest colleagues, attended the wedding of a female colleague. And for this particular occasion, I got to deck myself up in traditional attire. It was kind of a relief and an excuse to dress up in the middle of the week.

On my lips: Maybelline Vivid Matte Bold Crimson Lipstick
On my eyes: Lakme Iconic Kajal
On my nails: Maybelline Bold Matte Nail Color
On my feet: Peeptoes found from a local store
Earrings and Cuff found from a local store
So if you are planning to attend a colleague's wedding, then don't go for sarees which is getting very predictable these days, instead opt for a straight fit kurti and pair it with either palazzos or skin tight leggings to bring that oomph factor. Keep your hair open, opt for minimal accessories and go for some bold matte make up, and you are all set to be a head turner.
